Smart, Sustainable Buildings is the building decarbonisation and smart building consulting practice of Arcadis. The practice partners with public and private sector clients across corporate, residential, industrial, transport and public realm portfolios to deliver net zero commitments, ESG goals, energy savings and compliance with sustainability legislation and regulation. Services span new build and retrofit, with end-to-end support from concept through to certification, construction and operation—including net zero programme management, sustainable design, intelligent building technology, biodiversity expertise, stakeholder engagement, and traditional building engineering, cost management and architecture. The team also supports clients in achieving BREEAM, LEED, WELL and Smart Buildings accreditations, applying circular economy principles to embed long-term sustainability across the building lifecycle
