Building Decarbonization Consulting Services

Arup's building decarbonisation consulting services support public and private sector clients in transitioning their property portfolios and building projects to net zero across both new build and retrofit. Delivered through Arup's Climate & Sustainability Consulting and Decarbonisation practices, the services span whole life carbon (WLC) assessments—which Arup commits to undertaking on all of its building design projects—net zero strategy and target setting, baseline GHG emissions analysis, whole-life carbon reduction pathways, and implementation support. The team also leads retrofit-at-scale advisory, and develops Local Area Energy Plans (LAEPs) and Local Heat and Energy Efficiency Strategies (LHEES) for local and devolved administrations.
