HikCentral Professional (HCP)

HikCentral Professional (HCP) is Hikvision’s centralized video management and security platform that aggregates video streams, device data, and AI-driven analytics across surveillance systems. HCP provides a layer for configuring and managing video-based risk detection built on Hikvision cameras and edge AI devices. It supports real-time event monitoring and alerts for safety-relevant conditions such as PPE compliance, intrusion into restricted zones, loitering or abnormal behaviour, person-down detection, and vehicle–pedestrian interactions. These events are consolidated into dashboards and event logs to support incident response, investigation, and reporting across single or multi-site deployments. The platform is used primarily in industrial, logistics, infrastructure, and commercial environments to centralize video security operations while enabling AI-based safety monitoring as part of broader operational risk management.
