IES Virtual Environment (VE)

IES Virtual Environment (VE) is the core simulation and base digital twin component of IES's live digital twin offering, which it forms in combination with IES Live (the layer providing live data streams). Built on the APACHE simulation engine, VE is a suite of integrated whole-building performance analysis tools supporting design, retrofit and operational optimisation across energy, carbon, thermal comfort, HVAC sizing, daylighting and airflow (CFD). The software supports the full project lifecycle from Schematic Design to Post-Occupancy and provides global compliance coverage (LEED, ASHRAE 90.1, IECC, California Title 24, Florida Building Code and others)
