Presight Barrier Management

Presight® Barrier Management continuously monitors, forecasts, and visualises safety-critical barriers using near real-time data drawn automatically from existing business systems. Information is gathered from bow-ties, barrier strategies, and performance standards, as well as from source systems such as maintenance management systems (CMMS), HR systems, deviation systems, inhibit logs, and permit-to-work systems, either directly or via a data lake. This information is then structured and presented to give a clear and current overview of barrier status, enabling users to take timely action to restore degraded barriers and prevent the escalation of unwanted events, including major accident hazards, harm to people, the environment, and unplanned downtime.
