Router is Speko's hosted, provider-neutral data plane for voice AI applications, offering speech-to-text, language model, and text-to-speech capabilities behind typed contracts. Rather than locking developers into one provider or model, it manages routing dynamically — since Speko's own benchmarking shows no single model performs best across all 10 languages it evaluates, with four different models winning depending on the language. Router selects the optimal model for each session automatically, so multilingual voice applications get consistently strong performance without developers having to manually pick and switch between providers per language.
