1PointFive is a carbon capture and storage company, part of Occidental's low-carbon ventures business, focused on reducing atmospheric carbon dioxide. It develops large-scale Direct Air Capture facilities using Carbon Engineering technology, sells DAC-based Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) credits, and develops geologic sequestration hubs that provide CO2 storage for industrial point-source emitters. It serves hard-to-abate sectors such as aviation, maritime, chemicals and long-haul trucking, and also supports decarbonized-product programs and low-carbon fuels.
