4cost GmbH is a Berlin-based German company, founded in 2008, that develops and distributes costing software for consistent, valid cost calculations from the early concept phase through the product life cycle. Its modular tools cover parametric top-down and detailed bottom-up product costing (including directly on 3D CAD models), development costs, life cycle costing, software development costs, cost forecasting, overhead analysis and product carbon footprint. It also provides services including consulting, value engineering, workshops, training, software implementation and support in supplier negotiations, serving industries such as mechanical engineering, automotive, aerospace, high tech and defence.
