AP Sensing

AP Sensing is a German developer and manufacturer of distributed fiber optic sensing (DFOS) technology, with roots in Hewlett-Packard and Agilent measurement heritage and independent since 2007. Its in-house developed portfolio covers Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS), Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS), Linear Heat Detection (LHD) fire detection and Distributed Temperature and Strain Sensing (DTSS), plus a fiber optic current sensing solution (CAMOS). It also offers digital solutions (SmartVision software, AI intrusion detection, an optional SaaS cloud platform with Digital Monitoring Twins) and lifecycle services from consulting to maintenance. Its systems serve power grid and cable monitoring, pipelines, LNG, oil and gas, CCS, geothermal, fire detection and critical infrastructure.
