AVEVA was founded in 1967 and acquired Schneider Electric's industrial software division in 2018, before being acquired by Schneider Electric itself in 2023 for $11.6 billion. AVEVA is a multinational industrial software provider and, despite lacking a holistic PSM solution, offers unique operational technology (OT) and engineering technology (ET) data management, as well as AI analytics capabilities for improving asset performance and plant operations. Its asset performance management (APM) solution delivers market-leading analytics. The firm acquired OSIsoft in 2020 and has partnerships with systems integrators such as INDEFF and service providers such as Accenture, Capgemini, Deloitte, Microsoft, Wipro and Wood.
