Adherent, formerly Compliance & Risks, provides an agentic AI product compliance platform that allows teams to anticipate and respond to ever-growing, ever-changing regulatory requirements. Global product companies use the platform to mitigate compliance risk while pursuing growth: complying with speed and accuracy, accelerating new product launches, and finding new markets for their products. The company was founded in 2002 and spent more than two decades under the Compliance & Risks name building a human-verified regulatory intelligence dataset and C2P, a regulatory change management platform used by global manufacturers to track and act on regulatory developments. In 2025, the platform was rebuilt from the ground up into an AI-native experience. In 2026, the company rebranded as Adherent and launched its agentic AI product compliance platform, introducing Ari, an AI product compliance assistant. The platform pairs purpose-built AI agents with a proprietary regulatory dataset that is curated and continuously verified by human experts. Agents run product compliance workflows continuously in the background: monitoring global regulatory developments across products, materials, markets, and supply chains; assessing which changes apply to specific products, components, claims, and markets; converting dense legal and regulatory text into structured, actionable requirements; and ranking changes by deadline pressure, enforcement activity, portfolio exposure, and effort to comply.
