EFFECTO is a global manufacturer of end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) and workholding solutions with over 60 years of history, originating in 1967 as a maker of vises and indexing chucks. It is credited with inventing the first robotic tool changer. Its portfolio includes tool changers, collision sensors, grippers, palletizing grippers, docking systems, compliance devices, deburring and finishing tools, robot components, and automatic and pneumatic/hydraulic vises and indexing chucks. The group operates through Effecto, Inc. (formerly Applied Robotics) in the USA, Effecto Group S.p.A. in Italy and Effecto GmbH (formerly PTM Präzisionstechnik) in Germany, serving aerospace, automotive, medical, machine tool and other industries.
