Electranix

Electranix Corporation is an independent power systems consulting and specialty engineering firm founded in 2000 by Dennis Woodford and Garth Irwin, co-developers of the PSCAD/EMTDC electromagnetic transient program. It provides transmission and distribution studies and simulation, HVDC, FACTS and custom power, and renewable interconnection consulting, plus custom training for utilities and ISOs. It also develops and licenses power system simulation software tools such as E-Tran (PSS/E to PSCAD translation) and E-Screen. It employs over 30 specialist engineers and computer scientists.
