Founded in 1903, EY is a large multinational professional services firms, providing assurance, consulting, law, strategy transactions and tax services. Through its dedicated and globally integrated Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) practice, EY has delivered sustainability assurance services to clients for over 20 years. The firm has significantly grown its sustainability practice in recent years, both organically and through acquisitions. In April 2024 it acquired European boutique sustainability consulting firm denkstatt, significantly expanding its market penetration in central Europe. The firm is heavily investing in technology; it launched 20 new assurance technologies as part of its $1 billion investment in next-generation assurance technology announced in June 2022.
