Flow Science

Flow Science, founded in 1980 by Dr. C. W. (Tony) Hirt, a pioneer of the Volume-of-Fluid (VOF) method, develops the FLOW-3D family of CFD and multiphysics simulation software. Its products serve industries including additive manufacturing, metal casting, water and environmental engineering, aerospace, automotive, energy, maritime, coating, consumer products, laser welding and micro/nano/bio fluidics. It is headquartered in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with an East Coast office in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and serves customers worldwide through subsidiaries and independent distributors, providing training and technical support.
