Folium Sensing

Folium Sensing is a deep-tech startup, born at IIT Madras Research Park, that specializes in fiber optic-based distributed sensing. It turns standard optical fibers into continuous real-time sensors for strain, temperature, pressure and acoustics. It designs the whole chain, from interrogator units to AI-based analytics, cloud dashboards, custom sensor assemblies and deployment services. Its customers span oil & gas pipelines, power utilities, railways, construction and infrastructure, defense and security, marine and offshore, mining and smart cities.
