ICE operates multiple financial exchanges, such as the New York Stock Exchange, and numerous futures exchanges and clearing services around the world, offering a variety of financial data products. To build up its climate capabilities, ICE acquired geospatial developer Level 11 Analytics and physical risk modeller risQ in 2021. In 2022, it further expanded its climate offerings by acquiring Urgentem – an emissions and climate transition data provider. ICE has a long history of providing financial data for fixed-income assets and has focused on integrating this expertise into its climate solutions. The firm has a dedicated platform for climate transition finance and a geospatial platform for physical risk analysis. Climate data and analytics are also available via file transfers, APIs and bespoke integration solutions.
