IPG Automotive is a family-owned German company, founded in 1984 in Karlsruhe, that develops simulation solutions for virtual vehicle development. Its portfolio spans simulation software (CarMaker, TruckMaker, MotorcycleMaker, VIRTO data and test management tools), hardware (Xpack real-time systems, sensor interfaces), turnkey hardware-in-the-loop test systems (e.g. Brake-, Steering-, Vehicle-in-the-Loop), and consulting, engineering services and training. It serves OEMs and suppliers across autonomous driving, ADAS, powertrain and electric mobility, and vehicle dynamics, with more than 440 employees at 16 locations worldwide.
