Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is a U.S. affiliate of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation of Japan, serving North American power systems, rail transportation and large-scale video display markets. Its offerings include gas circuit breakers, vacuum circuit breakers, power transformers, gas-insulated substations, HVDC and FACTS, battery energy storage, generators, nuclear power plant control systems, UPS and IT cooling, DER management software, rail onboard and wayside equipment, and Diamond Vision LED displays, plus breaker field services and power systems consulting. Formed in 1985 as a joint venture with Westinghouse (WM Power Products), it became a wholly owned Mitsubishi Electric subsidiary in 1989.
