MotorAI (株式会社MotorAI) is a Japanese startup and Ritsumeikan University spin-out, founded in 2023, that develops an AI agent for electric motor design. Its product combines large language models with a geometry-generation engine to edit motor cross-sections, drive electromagnetic analysis tools such as JMAG and Ansys Maxwell, and reference motor-related patents and design theory. The company has filed seven related patent applications and has received support from NEDO, METI and other bodies.
