P-1 AI is a startup building Archie, an AI engineer for the physical world that fits into existing engineering teams and workflows as a junior mechanical and electrical engineer. Archie uses a custom agentic harness, structured design representation, continual skills learning and small custom post-trained models, and uses the same engineering tools as human engineers. The company works with design partners and customers in data center engineering (cooling, critical power) and is expanding into automotive and aerospace & defense. It is backed by NEA, Radical Ventures and others, and is led by co-founder and CEO Paul Eremenko.
