PlanetTogether

PlanetTogether is a provider of advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software for manufacturers, helping batch, discrete and process producers build finite-capacity production schedules around machines, labor, materials and changeovers. Rooted in Cornell University scheduling research and founded in the 2000s by Jim Cerra and Larry Hargis, it serves mid-sized firms through Fortune 500 manufacturers in more than 15 countries across food and beverage, life sciences, chemicals, aerospace, high-tech, metal fabrication and packaging. It integrates with ERP, MES, WMS, labor and supply chain systems and works through a global partner network. The company is now part of CAI Software, alongside the CAI Parsable connected worker platform.
