QuestDB is a company building a high-performance, low-latency time-series database on open formats (Apache 2.0 open source core) with SQL and time-series extensions. Founded in 2019 with roots in electronic FX trading, it serves tier-1 banks, exchanges, market makers, hedge funds, crypto platforms, energy operators, aerospace and robotics/Physical AI customers. It offers an open source edition and QuestDB Enterprise, which adds high availability, security, tiered lakehouse storage and SLA-backed support, including a BYOC managed option.
