Schmalz (J. Schmalz GmbH) is a third-generation family-owned company headquartered in Glatten, Germany, and a market leader in vacuum automation and ergonomic handling systems. Its Vacuum Automation business unit offers suction pads, vacuum generators, complete gripping systems and end-of-arm tooling, plus vacuum clamping technology for workpiece holding in CNC machining. The Handling business unit provides vacuum lifters and crane systems for manual handling, and the company also offers digital products and software for IO-Link devices and is building an Energy Storage business field for stationary energy storage systems. The Schmalz Group includes Schmalz, Binar Handling and GPS.
