Scientific Forming Technologies Corporation (SFTC) was incorporated in Ohio in 1991 by former Battelle employees and develops, distributes and supports the DEFORM finite element simulation system for metal forming, heat treatment, machining and mechanical joining. It also offers consulting, training, contract simulation and software development on a project basis, and supports hundreds of user sites worldwide through direct sales and distributors.
