Founded in 1878, SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance) is a global provider of testing, inspection, certification (TIC) and assurance services, operating across 116 countries with a network of 2,600 offices and laboratories. SGS’s sustainability services are organized under four pillars: Climate, Nature, Circularity and ESG Assurance. SGS’s ESG assurance services include CSRD pre-assurance, non-financial report assurance and KPI verification and training. SGS has delivered ESG assurance services for over 20 years, having first introduced sustainability report assurance in 2000. In August 2024, SIX, the Swiss stock market regulator, appointed SGS as an approved reviewer for the SIX Swiss Exchange 1.5°C Climate Equity Flag Reviews.
