Thermo-Calc Software

Thermo-Calc Software is a computational materials engineering company founded in 1997, with roots in work at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in the 1970s. It develops CALPHAD-based software, over 40 thermodynamic, kinetic and properties databases, add-on modules and SDKs for predicting materials behavior. It also offers a free educational package and, since 2025, Thermo-Calc Solutions, an engineering services division providing ICME and materials design consulting. It serves more than 2,000 organizations in over 60 countries, with offices in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
